We're bringing rig and hydraulic workover operations, followed by various well entry services, in-house and creating the capability to support both Todd's wells programme and external customers.
As Well Services Manager, you'll help establish the operating model, workforce structure and asset management approach that will support the business long term. The function spans rig operations, hydraulic workover and coiled tubing services, together with the people, equipment and supporting infrastructure required to deliver safe and reliable well services.
Overview
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the transition of well services operations into an in-house model.
- Own operational crews, workforce planning, recruitment, competency assurance and rostering.
- Manage the integrated schedule for rigs, hydraulic workover units, coiled tubing operations and associated resources.
- Oversee asset integrity, maintenance, certification, QA/QC and operational readiness.
- Participate in HSE performance management, budget management and contractor relationships.
- Provide operational coverage and backfill for the Drilling and Well Entry Superintendents as required.

Key requirements for the role:
- Significant experience in well services, drilling and well operations or a related oil and gas operational environment and a thorough understanding of the equipment required to deliver those operations.
- Previous experience working for a permit holder/operator in the oil and gas or geothermal sector as a drilling and or well entry superintendent.
- Experience in the New Zealand energy sector.
- Proven leadership experience managing operational teams and resources.
- Strong knowledge of HSE, asset integrity, maintenance and operational risk management.
- Experience managing budgets, forecasts and the deployment of people and equipment across multiple work programmes.
- A relevant degree or equivalent technical and operational experience
