We are seeking a motivated, analytical, and values-driven individual to join our team as Pou Amotake – Commercial Operations Analyst.
This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of Te Kotahitanga's commercial and operational activities, supporting investments, housing developments, asset management, procurement, strategic projects, and organisational performance.
Working closely with the Pou Iho Tū – General Manager Economic Development and Operations, you will help drive the planning, delivery, monitoring, and continuous improvement of a diverse portfolio of commercial activities and strategic initiatives that create long-term benefits for Te Atiawa whānau.
This role provides exceptional exposure across asset management, housing development, investment management, procurement, health and safety, and strategic planning, making it an ideal opportunity for an emerging commercial leader looking to accelerate their career.
Overview
Te Tūranga (the role)
The core responsibilities of the role include:
- Supporting the implementation and ongoing management of Te Kotahitanga asset management systems and frameworks.
- Developing financial models, feasibility studies, business cases, and investment assessments.
- Undertaking commercial analysis, scenario modelling, and performance reporting.
- Supporting housing developments, commercial projects, and strategic initiatives.
- Coordinating project planning, governance reporting, procurement, and contract administration activities.
- Assisting with policy development, operational improvement, and organisational planning.
- Supporting health, safety, and risk management systems across the organisation.
- Preparing reports, dashboards, and analysis to support management and governance decision-making.
- Building positive relationships with whānau, hapū, stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers.
- Providing commercial and operational support across the wider Te Iho Tū portfolio.
Requirements
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a relevant qualification in commerce, business, property, engineering, planning, project management, or a related field.
- Has experience preparing reports, business cases, financial analysis, or performance reporting.
- Has experience in property, infrastructure, housing, asset management, commercial development, or a related sector.
- Understands financial modelling, commercial analysis, and investment evaluation.
- Has strong project coordination and organisational skills.
- Is comfortable working across multiple projects and priorities.
- Has excellent relationship management and communication skills.
- Understands tikanga Māori and is comfortable working within a kaupapa Māori environment.
- Is proactive, analytical, solutions-focused, and eager to learn.
- Is passionate about contributing to the long-term aspirations of Te Atiawa.
