We are seeking an experienced Project Co-ordinator and Project Manager to join our dynamic team at DK Roofing in New Plymouth, Central Taranaki. As a full-time member of our Roofing and Project Management team, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of our diverse range of residential and commercial roofing projects within the North Island.
Overview
What You'll Be Doing:
- Collaborating with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to plan, schedule, and coordinate all aspects of roofing projects
- Monitoring project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Overseeing the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to maximise efficiency
- Maintaining detailed project documentation, including reports, timesheets, and budgets
- Communicating regularly with clients to provide updates and address any concerns
- Assisting with the preparation of tenders and proposals for new business opportunities
- Providing mentorship and guidance to junior members of the project management team
Requirements
What We're Looking For:
- Significant experience (5+ years) in a similar project co-ordination or project management role, preferably within the construction industry or corporate sector.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders
- Proficient in the use of project management software, such as Microsoft Project.
- Thorough understanding of construction processes, regulations, and safety requirements
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as Construction Management or Project Management for the Project Management role, would be an advantage
