We’re looking for an Accountant with strong technical accounting and tax knowledge who is keen to play and active role in a team that values accuracy, collaboration and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare accurate, timely financial statements, tax returns and compliance reports.
- Broaden your experience through budgeting, forecasting, tax planning, dividend calculations and financial analysis.
- Build trusted relationships by providing practical accounting and advisory support.
- Manage workflow with a clear focus on deadlines, quality and efficiency.
- Grow your technical and automation capability and bring your ideas for improvements in our systems, processes and ways of working.

Requirements
What will help you succeed:
- At least three years’ experience in agricultural and/or commercial accounting.
- Sound knowledge of New Zealand accounting standards, tax compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Strong technical accounting skills and an eye for detail.
- The ability to communicate clearly and build positive, professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Confidence using accounting systems and reporting tools, along with a willingness to continue to develop your skills.
- Strong organisation skills and the ability to balance competing deadlines.
- A relevant qualification in accounting, finance, commerce or a related field is an advantage, but not essential.
- A collaborative mindset, sound judgement, integrity and a proactive approach
