PKW is seeking a warm, organised and capable Te Rau Hāpai Titikura (Shareholder Engagement Assistant) to join our Shareholder Engagement team based in Ngā Motu | New Plymouth.


This role provides exceptional reception services for our manuhiri (visitors), along with general administrative and office support across the PKW group. You will also play a key role in supporting shareholder engagement activities and maintaining strong relationships with our shareholders and the wider Taranaki Māori community.


Overview

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing a welcoming and professional reception service for manuhiri and callers
  • General office administration and coordination of office facilities and supplies
  • Supporting shareholder services, including maintaining accurate shareholder records and assisting with dividend processes
  • Providing administrative support for shareholder communications, events and engagement activities (AGMs, hui, marae visits and community events)
  • Supporting the Shareholder Engagement team with administration, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Upholding PKW values, tikanga Māori and health and safety responsibilities


Requirements

We welcome applications from candidates who can demonstrate:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in an administration or office support role
  • NCEA Level 3 or higher (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A high level of professionalism, initiative and attention to detail
  • Experience or understanding of Māori aspirations for Māori economic development, tikanga Māori, and Māori organisational structures will be highly regarded.

Established in 1976, PKW manages and administers land and land related assets returned to Taranaki Māori following the Taranaki Land Wars. We have over 11,300 Rautitikura (shareholders) and an elected Committee of Management who govern the organisation with Māori values and customs that underpin the Incorporation's environment and practices.
