ICT Support Analyst

As an ICT Support Analyst at Tui Ora, you will play a key role in supporting and evolving a modern, cloud-first environment that enables health and social services across Taranaki.


While you will provide responsive frontline support to our kaimahi (employees), this role goes far beyond resolving tickets. You will gain hands-on exposure to Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune-enabled endpoint management, identity and access controls, and modern cloud-based infrastructure. You’ll work across devices, systems, and platforms that directly enable clinical, community, and social service teams to deliver meaningful outcomes for whānau (families).


Overview

You will:

  • Deliver high-quality, people-centred ICT support across our organisation
  • Support and help optimise a Microsoft 365 cloud environment
  • Work with Intune and modern endpoint management practices
  • Assist with identity and access management, security controls, and device compliance
  • Contribute to system improvements, documentation, and continuous enhancement initiatives
  • Participate in technology rollouts, upgrades, and digital transformation project.
  • Success in this role looks like strong relationships with kaimahi (employees), timely and effective resolution of support requests, accurate documentation, and proactive contribution to improving how we deliver technology across Tui Ora.
  • You’ll be part of a collaborative Data & Digital team with real scope to grow your technical capability. If you’re curious, motivated, and keen to expand your skillset in a modern cloud environment — this role provides that opportunity.


Requirements

Kia ekena a angitū | To promote success in this role, you will have:

  • Relevant qualification in Information Technology
  • ITIL Foundation (preferred)
  • Full, clean NZ Driver Licence
  • Minimum one year New Zealand based experience in an ICT support or service desk environment. (preferred).
  • Experience supporting and administering a modern Microsoft cloud environment (Windows endpoints, Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune).
  • Experience in Windows Server (desirable)
  • Experience with identity and access management (MFA, permissions, role-based access).
  • Familiarity with client management systems (e.g., Indici, Whānau Tahi or similar) (desirable).
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet service level targets.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in plain language.
  • Customer-focused, professional and approachable, with a strong sense of ownership and follow through.
  • Professional integrity and respect for confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
