Overview
Responsibilities:
- Follow the Tikanga o Ngāti Tama
- Ensure data collection and management (GIS)
- Support kaimahi and their resources
- Oversee the health and safety of the team
- Assist with permits and administration
- Help with trapping, monitoring and auditing when needed
- Encourage community engagement and education
Requirements
- Excellent Administration and data management skills
- Communication and collaborative skills
- Passion for te taiao and conservation
- Field or conservation experience (not essential)
- Keen attitude to learn new skills and technologies
What we can offer you
This role has flexible hours, spread from Urenui, Uruti and Parininihi, and is available part-time and full time. The job can provide you with many development opportunities and you will be entitled to full health insurance cover. As an Operations Coordinator, approximately 80% of the mahi is office-based.
