Pay band: $29.75 – $29.92 per hour (experience-based)

Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and plating dishes to specification and standard
- Running your section during service with confidence and consistency
- Supporting mise-en-place and prep for daily services
- Maintaining food quality, portion control & presentation standards
- Supporting stock rotation, ordering & wastage management
- Upholding hygiene, HACCP & food safety compliance
- Contributing to positive kitchen communication & team culture
- Assisting with the training/supervision of junior chefs when required

Requirements
We are looking for someone who demonstrates:
- 2+ years’ experience in a commercial kitchen (Chef de Partie, Demi Chef or strong Commis stepping up)
- Level 4 cookery qualification (or equivalent experience) preferred
- Relevant Food Safety Certificates preferred
- Passion for fresh, seasonal food and presentation
- Solid section skills and ability to work independently
- Strong teamwork & communication skills
- Flexibility to work rostered shifts across a 7-day operation (including public holidays), with split shifts required on some days
- Experience in hotels, restaurants, conferencing or banqueting is advantageous.
