Mō te tūranga | About the role:
You will be joining a vibrant, dedicated, and collaborative nursing team, where you will be responsible for providing patient-centred, culturally appropriate, individual holistic care to our enrolled population. This includes immunisations, cervical smears, HPV testing, wound care, health checks, education and other relevant mahi.

Requirements
Kia ekena a angitū | To promote success in this role, you will have:
- Registration with Nursing Council of NZ with a current Practicing Certificate
- At least two years’ Practice Nurse experience preferred but not essential
- Ensure you provide a safe, professional service to whānau
- Passion about providing health services that meet the needs of the community and are of high quality
- An understanding of the health needs of different communities and is able to build a rapport with those from diverse backgrounds
- Experience in applying tikanga Māori as it applies in the role (desirable)
- The ability to demonstrate practical understanding of the aspirations and challenges facing Māori communities
- Experience in applying Tikanga Māori as it applies in the role is desirable
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills
- A working knowledge of Indici is preferred but not essential
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to lead and work as part of a team
- Excellent organisation skills and able to take responsibility for completion of tasks
- A strong work ethic, demonstrated by a high level of integrity, reliability, efficiency, and self-management
- The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with whānau and kaimahi.
- A full NZ drivers' licence
