Overview
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Support: Coordinate iwi-led projects and events, assist with planning, delivery, and reporting.
- Relationship Building: Maintain strong connections with uri, marae, hapuu, and stakeholders.
- Kaupapa Support: Provide manaakitanga, promote health and safety, and ensure a positive experience for uri and manuhiri.
- Representation: Represent Te Kaahui o Rauru at iwi, hapuu, and marae kaupapa as needed.
Requirements
Role Requirements
- A tertiary qualification in project management or related field, or commitment to achieving one.
- Full NZ driver’s licence.
- Current First Aid Certificate (or commitment to obtain one).
- Relevant experience in project coordination (ideally 2+ years).
- Ability to work flexibly, including some evenings/weekends as required for iwi kaupapa.
- An ability to converse and understand Te Reo Maaori me ona tikanga would be an advantage
