- A tertiary education qualification in a relevant field / or equivalent experience
- Vocational registration where required for service provision.
- Three years team leader experience (desirable)
- The ability to lead in a way that reflects te ao Māori values, supporting whānau-centred, culturally safe practice
- The ability to demonstrate practical understanding of the aspirations and challenges of whānau Māori
- Honed written and oral communication skills
- The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- The ability to plan and achieve goals
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work as part of a team
- The ability to coach and influence others as well as be a critical thinker
- Excellent organisation skills and able to take responsibility for completion of tasks
- A strong work ethic, demonstrated by a high level of integrity, reliability and efficiency
- A full, clean NZ Driver Licence
