Overview

Te Tūranga (the role) 


The core responsibilities of the role include:


  • Provide hands-on project administration: tracking milestones, managing meeting logistics, compiling reports, and monitoring deliverables.
  • Coordinate events and initiatives, including procurement and stakeholder engagement.
  • Support financial processes such as invoicing, reconciliations, and budget tracking.
  • Manage day-to-day office administration and systems.
  • Lead our reception and hospitality function – welcoming manuhiri and providing oversight of front-of-house operations.
  • Positively represent Te Kotahitanga in all interactions with whānau, hapū, and stakeholders.

Requirements

We’re looking for someone who:


  • Has experience in project support, administration, or operations.
  • Can confidently manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Understands tikanga Māori and is comfortable working in a kaupapa Māori environment.
  • Is relationship-focused, proactive, and a team player.
  • Has strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Is passionate about making a difference for Te Atiawa whānau.

Who we are

Te Kotahitanga o Te Atiawa (Te Kotahitanga) is the post settlement government entity (PSGE) for Te Atiawa Iwi located in Taranaki. Established by the Trust Deed in 2014, Te Kotahitanga is responsible for managing Te Atiawa treaty settlement assets for the benefit of iwi members.
