The Lead Planner will work on behalf of Te Tōpuni Ngārahu Trust  alongside a Crown-appointed Lead Planner to support the preparation of the draft national park management plan, to be called He Kawa Ora mō Te Papa-Kura-o-Taranaki.

 

Overview

Te Tōpuni Ngārahu Limited Partnership is seekling applications for a Lead Planner to provide planning advice and drafting services to support Te Tōpuni Kōkōrangi - a newly established statutory body under Te Ture Whakatupua mō Te Kāhui Tupua / 

Taranaki Maunga Collective Redress Act 2025, which will act as the face and voice of Te Kāhui Tupua.


Requirements

  • Uri of, one or more, of the eight Taranaki Iwi .
  • Experienced resource management planner.
  • Strong understanding of Te Kāhui Tupua, conservation legislation.
  • Knowledge of local government and public sector legislation and planning making processes.
  • Experience workign with diverse communities within a high-profile public content.
