Please note: You may apply for as many PKW Scholarships as you wish, as long as you meet the criteria. However, you will only be eligible to receive one scholarship per year.

Novotel Ngāmotu, with support of PKW, are proud to offer the Novotel Ngāmotu Te Rau Hāpai Manuhiri Scholarship.
This Scholarship is targeted to students enrolled in the July 2026 intake of the New Zealand Diploma of Hospitality Management (NZQA at the Pacific International Hotel Management School. The successful candidate will also receive a six-month industry placement at Novotel Ngāmotu, Taranaki and Haukai Bistro & Bar as a part of their Māori Skills Development for the Hospitality Industry Programme.
There is 1 x Scholarship to cover fees, accommodation (single room during PIHMS studies only) and placement at Novotel Ngāmotu, Taranaki and Haukai Bistro & Bar (mid December 2026).
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident
- Whakapapa to Te Atiawa Iwi or Taranaki Iwi
- Be endorsed by a living PKW shareholder
- Be enrolled in 2026 July intake of the New Zealand Diploma of Hospitality Management (Level 5) at the Pacific International Hotel Management School
- Be available for a six-month industry placement at Novotel Ngāmotu, Taranaki and Haukai Bistro & Bar
